The clock is carved of Rappahannock black walnut from a tree that Mr. and Mrs. Tom Pillar of Sperryville gave to Kramer several years ago. The original design with its graceful arch at the top is intended to give some semblance of the county’s flowing mountains, according to the craftsman.
