Manuel
Thomas H. Manuel, Sr., 89, of Winchester died Thursday, December 31, 1981. in the Veterans Administration Center, Martinsburg, W. Va. Funeral services were conducted Monday at the Jones Funeral Home in Winchester by the Rev. J. William Hough. Burial was in Mount Hebron Cemetery there. Mr. Manuel was born June 3, 1892, in Washington, son of the late Robert E. and Anna Clark Manuel. He was the husband of the late Elsie Rainsberger. Prior to retirement, he was employed by the Snapp Foundry in Winchester as a welder. He was a member of the Washington Baptist Church and a veteran of World War 1. Surviving are a' son, Thomas H. Manuel, Jr. of Winchester; a daughter, Helen M. Hornek of West Pa,lm Beach, Fla.; six grandchildren; nine greatgrandchildren and a greatgreat-grandchild.
Clatterbuck
Lyle Jackson Clatterbuck^84, of Front Royal died Saturday, January 2, I982'in the Lynn Care Center there.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at the Maddox Funeral Home by the Rev. Jerry Young. Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Front Royal.
Mr. Clatterbuck was born October 27, 1897, in Rappahannock County, son of Andrew Jackson and Edith Virginia Clatterbuck. He was the husband of the late Hazel Mildred Clatterbuck.
Surviving are two sons, Lyle Elwood Clatterbuck of Great Cacapon, W. Va.. and Giles Andrew Clatterbuck of Falls Church; three daughters. Edith Virginia Lichliter of Strasburg, Annie Louise Secrist and Dorothea Ethel Young, both of Front Royal; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildfeo;. .five step-grandchildren and 11 step-great-grandchildren.
