Spring Concert
Rehearsals Begin
The Rappahannock Choral Society will begin rehearsals for its 1982 Spring concert on Tuesday, January 12th, at Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington at 7:30 P.M. Singers interested in joining the group are welcome.
The spring program will consist of selections by American composers. One of the larger works is Randall Thompson's “The Testament of Freedom" which is based on Thomas Jefferson’s words from the Declaration of Independence. A group of ballads and folk songs about America's growth and westward movement will be followed by 20th century music including songs by Cole Porter.
