William Bywaters Carter, 74, of Front Royal died December 21, 1981 in Warren Memorial Hospital, there.
Funeral services were conducted December 23, .at the Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home by the Rev. John P. Oliver Jr. Burial was at Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper.
Mr: Carter was born in Rappahannock, son of the, late Charles Eston and Deco Kinsey Carter. He was a retired employee and plant safety consultant of FMC in Front Royal. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, there and a U. S. Navy veteran.' He was married to the late Beatric Booz Carter.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Dwight Chapin of Front Royal; two grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. George Johnston of Boston.
Johnson
Mrs. Christie Anna Dodson, 79, of Culpeper died Saturday. January 2. 1982, at the Myrtle GrifFin Rest Home in Madison.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at the Bible Baptist Church in Culpeper by the Rev. Edward Hawkins. Burial was in Woodland Church Cemetery.
Born in Rappahannock County, she was the daughter of the late Elliott and Sarah Josephine Jenkins Dodson and the widow of George Carroll Johnson.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of Bible Baptist Church and operated the George C.. Johnson Store of Sperryville Pike prior to her retirement.
Survivors include two children, Mrs. Valeria Josephine Bonani of Lansdale, Fa., and William Henry Johnson of Culpeper, and two sisters. Mrs. Rayburn Hoffman of Culpeper and Mrs. Susie Elizabeth Bonner of Fort Pierce. Fla.
