Hutchinson RCHS MEDAL WINNERS at the state track meet last Saturday in Roanoke were (left to right) freshman Kathy Davis, sophomores Raynetta Gheen and Eugene Grigsby and juniors Cristol Porter and Kim Williams. The Lady Panthers’ “fast four” finished sixth in both the 440 and 880 relays with times of 52.4 seconds and 1:50.4 while Grigsby took fifth in the 100 meter dash in 10.4 seconds and sixth in the 220 in 22.8 seconds for the boys' contingent. The kids from Rappahannock competed against 22 schools from across Virginia at the state meet.
