Dodson

Graveside services for John Newman (Ollie) Dodson, 66, of Sperryville were held Monday, May 10, at Sperryville Cemetery by the Rev. Ronald Wiley.

Mr. Dodson, a farmer for J. W. Fletcher, was found pinned under a farm tractor on Friday, May 7, 1982. He was pronounced dead on arrival at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.

He was a native of Rappahannock County and the son of the late John William and Harriet Woodward Dodson. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Eva Clarke Dodson; three daughters, Mrs. John Hutt of Culpeper, Mrs. Luther Campbell of Washington and Mrs. Danny Baldwin of Sperryville; two sons, James Robert Dodson and Lewis William Dodson, both of Sperryville; one sister, Mrs. Delia Leake, also of Sperryville; sixteen grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren. .
