Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nichols and Leslie attended graduation exercises at VMI, Lexington on Saturday. Curtis Nichols was among the graduates. He will leave for active duty in the Navy on June 1. Curtis and Doug Nichols, also a student at VMI will be spending some time with their parents.
The Flint Hill firemen are planning a chicken barbeque dinner at the fire hall on Saturday, June 5.
Mr. and Mrs. Steve Welch of Washington, Bryant Welch and Holly Holbick of Front Royal and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Welch had dinner at the Chesapeake Seafood House in Manassas Saturday.
