Family Matriarch
Mrs. Lillian Eva Pullen Clark, 88, of Washington, died Tuesday. August 31, 1982, at Oak Springs Nursing Home, Warrenton.
Mrs. Clark was (he widow of Rossie Booten Clark and a native of Rappahannock County. Her parents were the late Sam and Mary Atkins Pullen. She was a member of Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church, Sperryville.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Vennie Dodson of Manassas, Mrs. Elsie Atkins of Woodville, Mrs. Eva Dodson of Sperryville and Mrs. Virginia Woodward of Harrisonburg; three sons, Amos Clark of Washington. Cletus Clark of Sperryville and Allie Clark of Falls Church; 21 grandchildren, 61 greatgrandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Clark is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Josie Menefee of Sperryville and two brothers. Ennis Pullen and Clarence Pullen, both of Luray.
A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday (today), at 2 p.m. at Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church, Sperryville by the Rev. Ronald Wiley. Burial will follow in Washington Masonic Cemetery.
