The strain of playing a full 32 minutes of basketball took its toll on Rappahannock Tuesday night as the Lady Panthers saw a two point first quarter deficit grow to 16 points at the final buzzer in their season opener against non-district opponent Warren County.
With only six girls playing until mid-season when scoring threat Melissa Turner is expected back on the court, the keys to winning for Rappahannock are staying out of foul trouble and conditioning. The RCHS girls had problems with both against Warren.
