problem that exisis and has existed for years. But the parents met with no success because too few people were willing to come forward. Their reasons for not stepping forward were “We don’t want to get involved!”
Well, finally this past school year more people did get involved. The school board members listened and they took action. We parents that stepped forward and became involved want to say “Thank you” to the school board.
It has now been brought to my attention that a petition is going around for signatures to support the re-hiring of this driver. To those people who are concerned for the safety of the children on the school bus, I would like to ask please, do not support this petition. Don't put this person back behind the wheel of a school bus. Respect the decision of the school board on this matter. The board members did a thorough investigation before they came to their decision.
