“I’VE ALWAYS WANTED TO LIVE HERE,” said Lucy Anne Maeyer, new sixth grade teacher. The daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Quaintance of Washington, she and her husband recently returned to Rappahannock with their three children to settle at her parents' farm. Mrs. Maeyer has nine years of classroom experience, the last six teaching combination second and third and third and fourth grades in Germany where her husband worked for the Department of Defense.
