Everyone is invited to attend, in costumes of the 1830’s, modern evening dress, or any evening wear pre-dating 1950. There will be a period dance display, a late supper, and music throughout the evening by Bill Abernathy. Tickets are $40 per couple and are available at Middle Street Gallery, or from Mrs. Sam O’Connor, Sid Gottlieb or Sandra Cartwright-Brown.
Dancers can rest their weary feet the following day and attend the Sursum Corda auction at the Sperryville Indoor Antique Flea Market at 1:00. This year, the school and day care center plans a silent as well as a live auction. The silent auction is patterned after the successful auction held for the past ten years for Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C.
