Camp Offered
This summer, Shenandoah’s Athletic Department will offer summer camps for young people in both soccer and basketball, bringing preteenagers and teenagers to the campus for advanced instruction in these sports.
The soccer camps are designed for young people between the ages of 6 and 11. Both beginners and experienced players are welcome. The instructors will emphasize the improvement of individual skills and responding quickly to different types of game situations. Campers will be provided with an opportunity to assess their individual strengths and weaknesses by watching videotapes of their camp competitions.
Four sessions of soccer camp are planned: July Ills, August 1-5, 8-12, and 1519.
The two sessions of the basketball camp will both be held June 20-24; morning sessions will be for players aged 8-12, the afternoon sessions will be for those aged 12-18.
