The Northern Piedmont Family Y programs slide into summer next week when the summer day camp begins.
Campers 6-12 can enjoy two weeks of fun in the quiet setting of Camp Rapidan. Sports, games, swimming, hikes, fishing, arts and crafts will be offered.
In the second week of each session there will be one overnight and campers will spend some time learning how to live in the out-ofdoors.
Sessions are as follows: session I from June 20-July 1; session II from July 5-July 15: session III from July 18July 29; and session IV from August 1-August 12. The cost is $50 for members and $55 for non-members. The bus will leave Culpeper Baptist Church Parking lot at 8:30 and return at 4. Aftercamp care will be provided at a cost of $5 per child, per week, payable in advance.
Other Y activities in the summer session, June 27 thru August 6, include Slimnastics held at Jefferson Savings & Loan, 5-6 p.m., Monday and Wednesday. Karate will be Monday, 7-9
