• According to Mrs. Sima, Mn. Jamtaeon has continued to expand and dnMop more new programs at the library. This year as program chairman, Mm. Jamieson worked to bring to the Unary lectures on Japanese Floral Arranging, Oriental rugs and another .Ibft; a bos trip to see the play “Amadeus.”
Truman Keeaey, also a member at the program committee who helped to aarange the “Amadeus” trip, said Mrs. Jamieson “never quit” in her quest to fat more people to participate in this Maiden voyage. Mr. Keeaey recalled that Mrs. Jamieson sold tickets nearly to; the final hour—even on horseback While riding with friends.
: “Mary is real energetic. She’s pam*; she’s a pusher,” offered E.P. Ldke, who succeeded Mrs. Jamieson aa chairman of the library’s trustees. “She has a seriousness of purpose to get tho job done. She's like a locomotive. When aha gets going, she’s hard to stop.”
Col. Luke said that Mr. and Mrs. Jijninson both have worked hard to mike the Rappahannock County Library a better place. “They’ve been gneat for the county. They’ve always had the interests of this county at habrt.”
