Reynolds bated the goals and the objectives included in the comprehensive plan which would affect the deacon on the landfill. After reeding each goal and objective which would apply to the landfill discussion, Reynolds gave information which would place the proposed landfill in opposition to the comprehensive plan.
‘'These people should not have to defend their homes,” Reynolds said. "These are the people who should be defended by you, by the comprehensive plan, by the supervisors.” Reynolds told the commission that placing a landfill near one of the largest subdivisions in the county would be asking for environmental problems as well as problems with citizens concerned with protecting their property.
