The hunt dub appeal was filed in response to a decision by Zoning Administrator David Koniek who found that the leasing of land for hunting was not a basis for finding that the land is being put to commercial use. Landowners around the land being leased contend that the use is commercial, and a special use permit is required.

Reynolds said that the appeal would go before the Board of Zoning Appeals, and that he would ask the board to continue the issue to its next meeting.
