Guests were Mrs. Fred Payne, Patsy Payne, Susan O’Bannon, Beverley DeMent, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Payne and family, all of Culpeper, Mr. and Mrs. Buck Payne and sons, Clyde Atkins, Mrs. Catherine Brown, Mr., and Mrs. Strother Brown and sons, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Overhulser of Springfield, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Payne of Falls Church, Dr. and Mrs. Larry Kushner of Gaithersburg, Md., and Mr. and Mrs. Benny Brown and family of Winchester.

Mr. and Mrs. Doyle DuBose of Bel Pre, Ohio, were houseguests for several days of Mrs. Kathryn Wayland at Walnut Lodge.

Mrs. T. J. Pillar and Mrs. W. H. Cordle spent from Sunday to New Year’s Day with Mr. and Mrs. David Cordle and daughter Devon in Williamsburg.

Mike Brown has returned to VPI after spending the holidays with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brown.
