Virginia Hospital.
A native of Madison County, Mr. Weakley was a retired foreman with the Virginia Department of Highways.
He is survived by his wife Vada Rider Weakley of Etlan, a daughter Lois Weakley Bowling of Orange, a son Timothy William Weakley of Front Royal, three brothers, Delma Weakley of Charlottesville, Irvin Weakley and Shirley Weakley, both of Etlan, five sisters, Carrie Yowell of Gordonsville, Kathleen Call of Etlan, Betty Dodson of Madison, Virgie Chambers and Eutha Reed, both of Charlottesville, six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
He was a member of Etlan United Methodist Church, where his ftineral service was conducted Jan. 6 by the Rev. James Taylor. Interment was at the Etlan Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Eugene Gordon, Tommy Call, Don Weakley, Leroy Weakley, Danny Jenkins and Thomas Aylor.
Howard Haynes
Howard Wayne Haynes, 31, of Etlan, died Jan. 4 from injuries received in an automobile accident in Madison County. - A native of Charlottesville, Mr. Haynes was a carpenter.
He is survived by his mother Annie Mae Weakley of Banco, his stepfather Claude Weakley Jr. of Banco, a brother Gary Lee Haynes of Etlan, two half-brothers, Danny Ray Weakley of Powhatan and Ronnie William Weakley of Etlan, and a half-sister Mary Sue Gillespie of Etlan.
A funeral service was conducted Jan. 6 at the Preddy Funeral Chapel, Orange, by the Rev. Jimmy Taylor. Interment was at the Etlan Church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to his mother Mrs. Annie Mae Weakley of Banco. .

Isaiah Burke, 76, of Chester, died Jan. 1 in a Petersburg hospital.
