Nancy Bun tin of Washington
has been named the recipient of the Good Citizenship Award made by the DAR Culpeper Minutemen Chapter. This award is made to an outstanding senior girl at Rappahannock County High School each year, as well as high schools in Madison and Culpeper counties. Nancy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Buntin.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Compton observed their golden wedding anniversary Dec. 26 at their home near Reva with open house from 1 to 4 p.m. All of their five children and six grandchildren were present. Mr. and Mrs. Compton were married Dec. 27, 1916, at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Bruce, near Spenyville, Rappahannock County.
