TUITION Jan. 20 ACCOUNTING (BEGINNING): Tuesdays, 30 hours. Starting $36 .an accounting system, analyzing & journalizing business transactions, posting to ledger accounts, preparation of six-column work sheets and financial statements. Checking accounts & reconciling bank statements. 6:30-0:30 p.m. • Jtn.22 ACCOUNTING (INTERMEDIATE): Thursday. 30 hours. Jour- $36 naHzing purchases & cash payments, sales & cash receipts, - posting to ledgers, preparing eight-column work sheets A financial statements of a partnership, adjusting & dosing entries. 6:30-9:30 p.m. Jen. 6 ADULT BASIC EDUCATION: Tuesdays & Thursdays. Con- No tinuous classes for those who have not completed high school dvg and wish to develop their basic skills in math, reading, and writing. ABC classes lead to promotion to the GED preparatory level. 6:45-9:15 p.m. Jan. • ADULT NON READER CLASS: Tuesdays & Thursdays. Con- No tinuous classes for those who cannot read or who read below cleg the fifth grade level. This class is designed to prepare students for Adult Basic Education classes. 6:45-9:15 p.m. Jan. 20 AIR CONDITIONING AND REFRIGERATION: Tuesdays 30 $36 hours. The National Electrical Code will be explained with servicing and maintaining air conditioners and refrigeration units. 6:30-9:30 p.m. Feb. 5 APPLEWORK8: Thursdays, 30 hours. Data Base Manage- $36 ment, Word Processing and Spreadsheet Analysis. Approximately 10 hours will be spent on each aspect of Appieworks. Students will become familiar with how each application functions. 6:30-9:30 p.m. Feb. 3 BASIC PROGRAMMING: Tuesdays A Thursdays, 30 hours. $36 Programming in Data Processing using the BASIC language, 6:30-9:30 p.m. Jan. 22 CAKE DECORATING: Thursdays, 15 hours. In five weekly, $1$ three-hour lessons, learn beautiful borders, fancy flowers, exquisite roses and rosebuds, colorful clowns, figure piping and more. Course book is provided. (Decorating supplies to be furnished by student). 6:30-9:30 p.m. Jon. 20 CARPENTY: Tuesdays, 30 hours. Basic house construction $36 and remodeling. The class will be structured to meet student needs. 6:30-9:30 p.m. Jan. 20 COMPUTER SOFTWARE SAMPLER: Tuesdays & Thurs- $15 days, 12 hours. A sampling of selected software available for the Apple computer. 6:30-9:30 p.m. Jan. 20 DRAFTING: Tuesdays. 30 hours. Basic course in mechanical $36 drawing, machine drafting using equipment, symbols and terms used in industry. 6:30-9:30 p.m. Jen. 6 GENERAL EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT (GED): Tues- $30 days & Thursdays. Basic fundamentals for job entry skills for nurses aides and orderlies. State approved program. 6:00-9:30 p.m. (Nursing home experience to be scheduled on weekends) Jan. 20 INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE MECHANICS: Tuesdays, 45 $54 hours. Combined instruction in machine maintenance, mechanical assembdng/disaSsembling, troubleshooting, bearings & train drives and hydraulics. 3:30-6:30 p.m. Jan. 20 MASONRY: Tuesdays, 30 hours. Basic instruction in brldday- $36 ing and masonry blocks. 6.30-9:30 p.m. Jan-22 MATHEMATICS FOR TRADE A INDUSTRIAL OCCUPA- $42 HONS 35 hours, Thursdays 3:30-6.00 p.m. A review of mathematics as applied to various jobs. Jan. 22 SEWING: Thursdays, 30 hours. In this course the participant $36 will learn the parts of a sewing machine, operation of a sewing machine, how to take pattern measurements A determine pattern size, selection of fabric. Two garments will be constructed in the class. (Students will be required to provide their own sewing equipment A supplies) 6:30-9:30 p.m. Jan. 22 SHORTHAND (BEGINNING): Thursdays, 30 hours. This $30 course is designed to enable students to learn the principles of Gregg Shorthand easily A quickly. 6:30-9:30 p.m. Jan. 21 SMALL ENGINE REPAIR: Wednesdays, 30 hours. Basic $36 course in repairing small engines including lawn mowers, chain saws, etc. 6:30-9:30 p.m. Jan. 20 TYPING (BEGINNING): Tuesdays, 30 hours. Students will $36 team the keyboard using the touch method with proper typing technique. Basic centering, personal communications (i.e. personal and business tetters) and simple tables will be covered. 6:30-9:30 p.m. ^ Jan. 22 TYPING (INTERMEDIATE): Thursdays, 30 hours. Designed $36 for speed and accuracy development and practical application of skids. 6:30-9:30 p.m. Jan. 21 WELDING: Wednesdays, 30 hours. Stick and oxyacetyline $36 welding A cutting. Includes home and farm repair. 6:30-9:30 Feb. 3 WORD PROCESSING: Tuesdays, 30 hours. This course is de-$36 signed to type documents, reports, memos, letters, form letters, short manuscripts, create, edit, retrieve A pript documents.
