Virginia Senator John Warner joined with the leadership of the Senate and House of Representatives in a meeting with President Reagan recently.

According to Sen. Warner, a range of issfces was discussed, as was the President’s agenda for the 100th Congress, which convened Jan. 6. Following the meeting, Sen. Warner issued the following statement:

“The Senate Republican and House leaders met with the President on the subject of the State of the Union message that he is now preparing to deliver Jan. 27.

“There was a very free-flowing discussion and the President said that his first priority is to continue to cut back federal spending and send up a budget that reaches the $108 billion limit on next year’s deficit under Gramm-Rudman./ The
