Mr. Burke was bom in Rappahannock County, son of the late Charles L. and Bessie Jenkins Burke. He wasa retired fanner.
Surviving are his wife Inez Jenkins Burke, four sons, Isaiah C. Burke and Carl G. Burke, both of Chester, Ray C. Burke of Richmond and Forrest L. Burke of Springfield, a sister Ora Christeldi of Linden, a brother Winston Burke of Orange, and eight grandchildren.'^
A funeral service was conducted Jan. 3 at the Boyce Baptist Church in Clarke County. Burial was in the Washington Masonic Cemetery.
Allen Grogg
Allen Grogg, 57, of Key Largo, Fla. , died Dec. 28 in Plantation, Fia.
He had been a winter visitor in Florida for 30 years and moved to the Keys permanently three months ago. He hid joined the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Key Largo.
Survivors include his wife Sue of Key Largo, a son John A. Grogg of Kilmarnock, two daughters, Deborah Sue and Angela D. Grogg, both of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and two grandchildren, Jad S. and E. Asher Grogg, both of Kilmarnock.
