Many people worry about having too much sugar, salt and fat in their diets.1 But it’s hard to limit them because they add so much flavor to foods. However, it's still possible to■ have a healthy yet tasty diet.
Spices and herbs will keep food from tasting flat and flavorless. For example, use more savory or biting spices and herbs if salt must be cut back. These include black pepper, garlic powder, curry powder, cumin and dill seeds, basil, ginger, coriander, onion, tarragon and oregano.
