Mrs. Chapman was a member of the Sperryville United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a daughter Mary C. Price of Hartfield, Va., a son David V. Chapman Jr. of Richmond, three grandchildren, Betty C. Lois, Willard B. Wake and Patricia Chapman, and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Jan. 8 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Richmond. Interment was at the Sperryville Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Sperryville United Methodist Church or to a favorite charity.

William Pullen

William Edward Pullen, 87, died Jan. 9 at his home in Hollywood, Fla., where he had lived for the past 20 years.

He was bom February 19, 1900, in White Hall, Va., the son of the Rev. Thomas G. and Annie Hilldrup Pullen.
