Extension conferences set
The 28th Virginia Turfgrass Conference and Trade Show will be held Jan. 19, 20, 21 at the Richmond Marriott.
National Farmers’ Direct Marketing Conference will be held Jan. 21-23 at Williamsburg.
The 1987/88 Commercial Small Fruits School has been rescheduled to Jan. 19. The conference was previously scheduled for Nov. 11, 1987, but was snowed out. It will be held at the Northern Virginia 4-H Educational Center, off Rt. 522 and Rt. 604, two miles south of Front Royal. All participants must pre-register to reserve a place for lunch. Registration fee is $6 per person, which covers the cost of morning coffee, juice, doughnuts, lunch and handout materials.

Landscape design school
Landscape Design School, Course I, the first in a series of four schools sponsored by the Virginia Cooperative Extension Service and the Virginia Federation of Garden Clubs Inc., will be held Jan. 18-20 at the River Ridge Mall Community Room, Lynchburg.
The course is open to the public. Total cost is $33; morning or afternoon sessions are $9 each. Classes will be taught from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday^^vi^ the examination for those desiring credit on Wednesday frohvft a<-fh. to noon.
