It’s a big step. Downstairs, they {dan menus, shop and cook as a group and their chores are assigned by the counselors. Upstairs, they plan their own menus, cook and shop for themselves and assess on their own which household jobs need doing.
The daily routine is less struc-* tured but a chunk of time every evening and on weekends remains reserved for practicing TAs. The evaluation and scoring continues, only this time readiness is being as*; sessed for an even bigger step: graduation to an outside apartment where their only supervision will come from once or twice weekly visits by residential counselors.
