RAAC talent show
The Rappahannock Association for the • Xrts and the Community wll hold its annual Talent Show, a showcase of local performers in a variety of artistic media, Saturday, June 17 at 8 p.m. at the Gay St. Theater. Tickets will be available at the door, but patrons are advised to come early to assure a seat for this usually sell-out affair.

F&M declares 3% dividend
The board of directors of F&M National Corp., a bank holding company whose assets include F&M Bank of Flint Hill, have declared a first quarter dividend of 3 percent. The corporation announced that first quarter profits were up 9.5 percent to 34 cents per share, up from 31 cents per share for the same period last year.
