As chairman of the committee which organized the Miss Rappahannock Beauty Contest, sponsored by the Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad, I'd like to thank all those who were involved and assisted with the event: David Huff for his special help in arranging the flowers on the stage, Nancy Leake for getting the contestants' gifts. Kirn Burke for typing the program, Linda Heeks for her talented calligraphy, and the Rappahannock County High School for allowing us to use its new auditorium and other assistance.
