The Board of Game and Inland Fisheries, at a meeting held in Richmond, Virginia, on May 5, 1989, adopted the following new and amended regulations pursuant to Sections 29.1501 and 29.1-502 of the Code of Virginia, to become effective July 1, 1989.

VR 325-02-01.

In General. §6. Hunting with dogs or possession of weapons in certain locations during closed season.

Amended subsection A of this section to include National Forest lands east of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

§11. Hog Island Wildlife Management Area -Possession of loaded gun prohibited; exception.

Amended this section to correct the name of this area from that of a “refuge" to a “wildlife management area;" identifying that portion of the wildlife management area where possession of a firearm is -• permitted for deer and waterfowl hunting; and clarifying any confusion relating to the lawful hunting of game on the remaining portions of this wildlife management area.
