On June 21, the Virginia State Police with assistance of the Virginia Employment Commission will participate in a special recruitment effort to attract qualified applicants for trooper positions.
Trooper M. D. Duncan will be recruiting from the VEC Culpeper office, located at 110 W. Cameron Street from 9:30 a.m.-ll a.m. “This is the first time recruitment has been scheduled for this office,” said Susan Wyndham of the Virginia Employment Commission. “We know the fine reputation that the Virginia State Police carries and we are glad to assist in recruiting some excellent candidates from this area.”
To qualify for the position of trooper, interested applicants must be 21 years of age, a graduate of an accredited high school or possess a GED, and have good vision in each eye.
