With the young men sporting traditional blue blazers and white slacks, and the young women wearing white dresses, 27 Wakefield seniors from around the world as well as across the country are preparing to take their place with thousands of other students as graduates of the Class of 1989.
For Wakefield School,the commencement exercises in the school’s garden this Sunday evening, June 18, will be a benchmark. The class will be the tenth to graduate from the private preparatory school located in Huntly.
“This senior class is notable for its school spirit,” interim headmistress Pamela Lynn observed. “Working under the adverse circumstances of our headmaster’s death at the beginning of the school year, the class demonstrated incredible amounts of school spirit and dedication to our headmaster’s ideals and
