RLEP annual meeting
The Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection Inc. (RLEP) is holding its annual meeting from 7 p.m. - until 9:30 p.m. Sept. 24 at the Washington fire hall. The purpose of the meeting is to get community feedback to identify which issues are vital to the residents of Rappahannock County. Some of the projects RLEP has been involved with have included scenic easements, environmental education, park-related trail management and zoning issues.
Paul Reisler of Trapezoid, will present a very special night of music. He will feature songs and instrumentals from his upcoming recording which will be reflections from 25 years of living in rural environs. One song entitled “Rappahannock” was written for a 13 part PBS series entitled “Rural America: Legacy and Change.”
