The Washington Town Council meets at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 9 in the Town Hall. Items on the agenda will be a public hearing to consider designs for replacement of existing fixtures for street lighting in the town and to consider an application by Spring Mountain School.
• The Rappahannock Board of Supervisors will meet at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 9 at the Rappahannock Courthouse. They will discuss landfill issues and appointments. At press time there appeared that there would be no evening meeting.
