The Sperryville Bridge Club was entertained Friday night at the home of Mrs. Cotton Miller.
Those playing in addition to Mrs. Miller were Mrs. Miriam Reeve, Mrs. Lucy Ann Maeyer, Mrs. Eleanor Cordle, Mrs. Elisabeth Johnson, Mrs. Edna Metzinger, Mrs. Mary Q. Snead and Mrs. Dot Estes.
Prizes were awarded to Mrs. Reeve, Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. Maeyer and Mrs. Miller.
The Sperryville Business Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 6 at Country Home Antiques. Plans for the upcoming festival will be discussed. All members are urged to attend.
