Mrs. Christine Klakto of Alexandria and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Klakto and Sara were Saturday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jon Heddleston and family for a picnic.
Plans are underway for the Apple Harvest festival scheduled for Oct. 3 and 4 in Sperryville. The annual event will be held both days, rain or shine from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Sperryville Business Council.
