Amissville United Methodist Women’s annual yard sale and bake sale will be held at the church from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday, May 22. Lunch will be available.
Located on U.S. 211 in the heart of Amissville, come out and enjoy a day of bargain shopping and a delicious lunch.
The Culpeper Women’s Aglow Fellowship will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 22 at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, located on 115 N. East Street.
Our own Phyliss Judd will be the guests speaker. Phyllis is a graduate of New Life Bible College in Cleveland, Tennessee. Phyllis is an anointed Bible teacher, teaching in her church, and along with her husband, lead a Care Group in our area.
The public is invited and babysitting is provided.
Parents of per-schoolers may meet with forester and naturalist Lyt Wood at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 24 at Rappahannock County Library. Discussion will include ways of involving young people in the wonders of the natural world and appropriate books.
The Amissville Ruritan Club will hold its monthly meeting at the Amissville Baptist Church at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 20.
