I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude and that of the Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Company to all those who helped make Saturday’s Road Apple Jamboree/flea market and craft fair a success.
Thanks to the donators of flea market items, to crafters, to buyers of Road Apple tickets, to the Rappahannock News for giving us space. Thanks, too, to those fire department members who worked so hard for so many days.
My personal gratitude to Cady Soukup, Heather Eastwood, Frances Schroeder and all my pony holders for their invaluable help with the Road Apple Jamboree. Special thanks to Lexi and Eliza Van Beuren, Ann Darby and Robbie Hamill-Huff for kindly loaning and transporting their ponies Encore, Pork Chop and Little Bits respectively.
