Laura McNear was second in batting with a .565 average, while Susan Payne was third with a .545 average. Cyndi Welch was fourth in batting with an even .500 average and second in stolen bases with 16 in district play and 18 overall. Lori Paratore led the team in runs batted in with seven in district play and 15 overall.
If the teams are successful in quarterfinal play the tournament will continue with semifinal and final games at Sandy Hook Elementary in Strasburg next Monday and Wednesday.
