complaining that the wooden stairs in front of the log cabin on Main Street next to the Clopton House blocked half the sidewalk. The ARB approved building the stairs during a meeting last March.
“We approve only the architecture." she said. "We are not responsible for safety.”
The board meets when necessary on the third Thursday of the month at 7:30 p.m. in the County Courthouse. The June meeting was cancelled because of lack of an agenda, and this month’s meeting was delayed a week because several members were unable to attend. The next meeting, if needed, will be Thursday. August 10.
