PROGRAM SUPPORT TECHNICIAN #05987 • Warrenton Residency. Individual to provide secretarial and administrative Human Resources support to the Residency staff. Prepares semi-monthly payrolls and health insurance statements and other billings and processes workers compensation, personnel transactions, and equipment accident reports. Maintains and updates leave tracking records; provides information to Residency employees on State benefits, such as health insurance, retirement, and leave; and assists with Human Resources, matters, such as processing various employment forms. Drafts and types corresponsence, takes dictation, maintains filing systems, and communicates with Residency staff and the general public. Must have working knowledge of Human Resources and payroll and office practices and procedures, including business English, grammer, punctuation, and dictation. Skill in keyboarding and operating a variety of automated office equipment and microcomputers. Requires ability to interpret and apply policies and guidelines; compile and analyze data; maintain accurate records and filing systems; and communicate effectively orally and in writing. Salary: $16,458 - $25,129. HIGHWAY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR A #09841, #03306, #03126, #11888, #13410, #05350, #03273, #09117, & #03242 - Warrenton Residency. Individual to operate and maintain light and medium duty highway equipment, such as 3-ton dump trucks, tractors, and sickle mowers in the construction and maintenance of roads and their surrounding right of ways. Performs heavy manual labor, such as cutting brush, loading trucks, digging trenches, and mixing concrete. Other duties may include flagging traffic, pushing snow, installing bridge decking and handrails, and constructing simple structures. Must know safety practices; be skilled in performing simple carpentry; be able to operate and maintain light and medium duty highway equipment and power tools and perform manual labor; and possess safety shoes and a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
