Laura Pulliam
Laura Coates Pulliam, 94, of Culpeper, died on Thursday, July 22 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital. - She was bom near Castleton on November 30,1898 to the late James ’William and Gertrude Virginia Cannon Coates.
Her husband was the late Silas Lillard Pulliam.
Mrs. Pulliam, formerly of Arlington, was an active member of The Clarendon Baptist Church and a current member of the Salem Baptist Church.
She was past president of the Courtlands Civic Association of Arlington and a delegate to the Arlington Civic F ederation.
Mrs. Pulliam is survived by one daughter, Laura P. Walker of Front Royal, and three sons, George William Pulliam of Culpeper, F. Preston Pulliam of Warrenton and Eugene L. Pulliam of Culpeper.
She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren, i She was preceded in death by her daughter Victoria P. Skelly. ’ Funeral services were held on jSunday, July 25 at Found & Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. H.O. Browning officiating.
Interment was private.
Pallbearers were the grandsons, Kenneth B. Skelly, William T. Skelly, Dennis M. Skelly, William C. Pulliam, George L. Pulliam and William C. Walker. j Memorial contributions may be made to the church of vour choice.
