Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Burke of Rochelle were Thursday afternoon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Peregory and children on Rt. 615.

The Future Business Leaders of America held their awards ceremony of the National Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C. on July 8. Stephen Whorton, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Whorton, down Reva Way, and a student at Culpeper County High School accepted a plaque for the school placing seventh in Parliamentary Procedure. The conference lasted for four days.
