On Friday, April 15 a Celebration of Student Creativity will be held at Rappahannock County High School.
The Celebration will feature a culmination and sampling of the year’s arts activities including projects that Artists-in-Residence, Laurie Marshall and Sharon Wyrrick, have created with students and teachers.
The exhibit will open at 6:30 p.m. in the Commons Area of high school and be followed by a performance in the Auditorium at 7:30 p.m.
The exhibit will include a showcasing of Harriette Rosenblatt’s art students at the high school. This is a wonderful opportunity to see the range of visual art works that the students have produced over the year and to meet Ms. Rosenblatt.
Liz Blubaugh’s Spanish classes will exhibit storybooks that they have produced in Spanish. Also featured in the exhibit will be “aliens” from Beth Gall’s Earth Science class, “computer dances” from Vicki Eastham’s Problem Solving/Computer Lab class, animal masks from Ms. Rosenblatt’s art classes and a mural from Jeanne Grimes’ Geography classes.
