Ruth Pillar
Mrs. Ruth Morrow Pillar, 84, of Culpeper died Monday, April 4 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Pillar was bom Nov. 19, 1909, in Portsmouth, daughter of the late Thomas P.W. and Frances K. Morrow.
She was the wife of the late Thomas J. Pillar.
Mrs. Pillar was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and of the Women of the Episcopal Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Margaret P. Cloe of Stafford; two grandchildren, William Weedon Cloe III of Richmond and Elizabeth Morrow Cloe of Sarasota, FI.; two sisters, Frances M. Love of Sperryville and Eleanor M. Cordle of Culpeper, two brothers, Edwin L. Morrow of Suffolk and William Henry Morrow of Norfolk; three nieces and three nephews.
She was predeceased by one brother, Gomall L. Morrow.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 7 at the Woodville Cemetery with the Rev. Kathleen Chipps and Rev. Joseph Kerr officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, American Heart Association, Culpeper Rescue Squad or Memorial Fund of Trinity Episcopal Church, Washington, Va. 22747.

Dolly Pullen of Sperryville died Saturday, April 2 at* Culpeper Health Care Center.
The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6 at Clore Funeal Home.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 7 at Sperryville Cemetery with the Rev. Carl Menefee officiating.
