“Web of Life” mural produced by the students at the elementary school under the direction of Laurie Marshall and serve as a backdrop for a performance directed by Ms. Wyrrick including: Cindy Wayland’s French 4 students dramatizing fables of La Fontaine (and wearing the animal masks produced by the art classes), dramatizations and readings from the storybooks from Liz Blubaugh’s Spanish classes, an interpretation of the “Web of Life” mural, Ms. Wyrrick performing a dance theatre work that features costumes designed from recyclable materials by the Art 4 students and more.
A special treat will be the feature guest speaker, Dr. David Synder, orthopedic surgeon. Dr. Snyder is well known in addition to his medical practice in Warrenton for his humanitarian work all over the world. His thoughts and comments about the “Web of Life” will bring an inspiring focus to the connections between us all.
