The victim said that Alan Davis, who is a mutual friend of Tommy Taylor and the victim’s boyfriend, came by at noon, but she did not tell him what had happened. She said that Jason Hammonds came by at about 2 p.m. and that she told him what happened. He went into the bedroom and found the piece of duct tape behind the bed. He brought it out to tiie kitchen.
When the victim’s mother came at 4 p.m., she told her what had happened. Once her boyfriend got home, he was also told of the incident. At 6:30 that evening, the victim and her mother reported the incident to Deputy Connie Compton at the Rappahannock County Sheriffs Department. Deputy Compton visited the victim’s trailer that evening and removed the bedsheets for evidence.
Mr. Taylor’s attorney, George Freeman, asked the victim if Mr. Taylor was circumcised. She responded, “I did not see. He had a Lifestyle condom.”
Mr. Luke next called the victim’s mother to the stand. She said of her daughter, “She started crying and said something bad had happened. She said Tommy had attacked her and told me everything that had happened. There were mouthprints on the inside of the piece of tape. There were pieces of dirt on the bed where you could tell he was on the bed with his shoes on.”
