Nellie Atkins

Miss Nellie Atkins, 96, of Sperryville died on Wednesday, April 27 at Warrenton Overlook Care Center.

She was bom in Rappahannock County on Aug. 26,1897.

She was retired from the Rappahannock Fruit Growers Association and was a member of Thornton Gap Primitive Baptist Church.

Her parents were the late James A. Atkins and Fannie Johnson Atkins.

Survivors include two sisters, Ethel Tyner of Sperryville and Lois Frazier of Warrenton; a nephew, David Craig Tyner of Palmyra and other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 30 at Clore Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Roger Frazier officiating.

Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
