Walk-In Clinics Planned -
The Rappahannock County Health Department will have the May walk-in clinics from 9-11:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 4 and from 8:30-11 a.m. on Monday, May 15. For more information call 675-3516.
Band Cal a Planned
The fourth annual Band Gala will be at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 25 in the RCES Auditorium. The evening will begin with the newly formed Rappahannock County Jazz Ensemble performing “At the Hop.” Next, the RCES Beginning Band will play several pieces including “Rockin’ Drummers.” A variety of styles from blues and rock to a traditional march will be presented by the RCES Blue Band.
The evening will conclude with the combined RCES Gold Bank and the RCHS Band performing the mystical “Korean Folk Rhapsody” and Shostakovich’s complex “Festive Overture..” You won’t want to miss this exciting event!
Beef Marketing Seminar Set
Virginia Cooperative Extension and the Rappahannock Farmers Association will co-sponsor a Beef Marketing Seminar May 8. Topics will include Retained Ownership, Producing Feeder Cattle for Today’s and Tomorrow’s Market, Forming Marketing Alliances, and Marketing Options.
