Justice Denied

To the Editor:

Regarding the trial, Welch versus the Rappahannock Board of Supervisors; I would like to commend the following; Dr. Greg Evanylo from VPI, Dr. Rufus Chaney from USDA, Dr. Carl Sawyer form the State Water Control Board and Jane Forste from Bio-Gro. From their testimony it was inspirational to realize that the institutions that they represent are in exceptional hands.

As for the trial: The Rappahannock board should not gloat nor be jubilant over their victory, because they received one of the most lopsided shellackings I have ever witnessed in a court of law.

When we look to our courts for redress, and are dished this type of justice, is it any wonder the American people have disdain for the judicial institution?

The litigants may be better served by the Virginia General Assembly and the Right to Farm Act to rectify and make impotent the verdict.
